mindline.sg
16 July 2026
mindline.sg is Singapore’s digital first-stop touchpoint for mental health, empowering residents to navigate self-care and support options in the community.
The platform enables – in one seamless ecosystem – anonymous, low-barrier access to curated self-care resources, validated self-assessment tools, digital therapeutic exercises, an AI-powered chatbot, a 24/7 text helpline service, a peer support forum, and even professional help where needed. Tailored to different population segments (e.g. youth, working adults), mindline.sg ensures accessibility across severity levels, promotes self-management, and supports care navigation through the broader mental health system.
Launched in June 2020 by MOHT, the Institute of Mental Health, the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and the National Council of Social Service, mindline.sg supports national efforts to enhance mental health literacy, promote early help-seeking, and strengthen community-based support. In partnership with the Ministry of Health’s National Mental Health Office and the Institute of Mental Health, mindline.sg brought together the digital platform, National Mental Health Helpline and Textline under the national mindline 1771 brand as a coordinated national first stop for mental health support spanning self-help, peer and professional services.
Aim Statement
To normalise mental health help-seeking behaviour by providing scalable digital mental health tools and seamless pathways to care.
Why It Matters
Nearly 4 in 5 Singaporeans with a mental health condition do not seek help. Stigma, cost, and limited professional manpower create a large treatment gap. Digital tools like mindline.sg offer anonymous, always-on, low-barrier support, complementing clinical care and helping individuals take the first step to navigate self-care and available community support options.
